PatienTree Signs OEM Agreement with Mi-Co.

PatienTree, Inc., a Tampa-Based Healthcare Technology solutions provider, has announced and OEM partnership with Mi-Co of the Research Triangle in North Carolina. This partnership empowers PatienTree to deliver true mobility to healthcare and furthers their accomplishments in CPOE and the EMR in Healthcare Enterprises.

TAMPA, Fla. – March 22, 2004 – PatienTree, a provider of technology solutions in the new age of Digital Hospitals, announced today that it has formed an OEM partnership with Mi-Co to enhance the PatienTree product offering for CPOE and Healthcare forms/document management.

Blending Mi-Co’s software into PatienTree’s portfolio of Healthcare Information Systems and Patient Entertainment Services allows PatienTree to become a front runner in the Healthcare migration towards the new Digital Hospital environment. PatienTree’s mobile forms enables doctors, nurses, administrators and even patients to fill out, sign and date required healthcare forms directly on the PatienTree terminal or pen-on-paper. From the terminal or pen-on-paper critical data is captured electronically and communicated in real time. Information captured within PatienTree will now be available for real time systems updates or enterprise distribution without the need to send the form to a document management system for scanning and OCR. This capability will save customers time and money as well as increase the quality of their healthcare data
