February 23, 2004- PatienTree debuts product at HIMSS in Orlando, Florida.

February 23, 2004 Tampa, FL  - PatienTree will debut its’ bedside terminal system, an innovative touch screen terminal that does "double duty" by serving as an information portal for both patients and their physicians, at this years HIMSS event. Physicians can use the PatienTree system for bedside access to a wealth of clinical data made available via the Netilla Security Platform. But patients can also use the easy-to-use touch screen system to surf the Web, send and receive emails and view cable TV and on-demand video.

PatienTree Inc. and its partner Netilla Networks, a SSL VPN and secure application access management solutions provider, will be joined together at the HIMSS Show. "Many hospitals are turning to SSL VPN’s as a cost-effective, easy to use and secure technology to let physicians and other nomadic user’s access clinical applications from anywhere," said Bryan Bain, vice president of marketing and corporate development at Netilla. "But because Netilla views SSL VPN’s simply as the precursor to secure application access management, we can offer healthcare providers two unique advantages: the ability to access virtually any application (not just Web applications), and the capability to enforce security policies before granting access to any user - remotely or onsite."

“What a great opportunity for us to partner with Netilla and debut the new PatienTree Point of Care product.” “This is one of the moments we have looked forward to and worked so hard to reach”. “We feel like we have built a quality solution for today’s hospitals and I can’t imagine a better place to introduce it at then HIMSS and with such a premier partner such as Netilla™” stated Bob Letzeisen, President and founder of PatienTree. “Having recently submitted the product code to Microsoft for certification for XP Professional™, I am confident we will meet the requirements and achieve our goals” he went on to say. “We are very excited to be development partners using the Microsoft .Net™ environment and the associated tools”, “and even more excited about being at HIMSS with Netilla™” Mr. Letzeisen continued.
